Initial Assessment
£120 + mileage
Initial assessment lasts up to 90 minutes. This includes a full case history discussion with parents, formal or informal assessment with the child and a recommendation on a forward plan. Therapy may be indicated, or I will provide strategies and advice with some follow up review appointments.
A written report is not included in this fee but can be requested.
Online Language Development Strategy sessions
£50
30 minute online sessions available for parents of children age 6m - 2 years, designed for parents who just need some advice on boosting language development due to concerns or just because you want to get ahead on ensuring best possible language development.
During these online sessions we can share a (virtual) cuppa and discuss ideas on how to boost your little ones communication skills! The fee also includes follow up resources sent via email.
These are not therapy sessions. If you are concerned about your child’s speech and/or language development please book an initial in person assessment.

Therapy
£80 per session + mileage
Direct therapy sessions to take place in your home or at school. Sessions may last up to 60 minutes but this will depend on your child. The average session is 30-45 minutes and quality of the therapy will always be prioritised over duration.
My style of therapy is as child led and play based as possible. Some children require more structure, others benefit from purely child led therapy. Therapy style will be individualised to your child’s learning style and personality.
Online therapy is available if your child is assessed as being able to access this.
Report writing
£80 per hour
Reports can be requested at an hourly rate. Total cost will depend on level of detail required.
Reports available - summary progress report, assessment reports, reports to support EHCP and Tribunal processes.
Stammering services
I offer specialised Stammering assessment and therapy.
Assessment - £150 + mileage
Therapy - £80 per session + mileage
I follow the Palin Model when assessing why a child may be stammering. This allows me to plan a highly individualised approach to therapy, designed to work holistically with the family to best support the child experiencing dysfluency. This therapy is not aimed at eliminating the stammer, rather it is designed to equip the family and child with strategies, assist in acceptance of the stammer and promote preservation of confidence and psychological wellbeing of the child. As a result of improved mindset, the stammer often improves.
Schools & Nurseries
Therapy services - I can offer half day sessions where I am able to see children individually or in small groups.
Training services - I can offer TA and other staff training, this can be one off or ongoing.
Consultative services - I am able to offer consultative services where I arrange visits to your school or nursery to advise on communication environment and strategy, this can be a one off visit or ongoing review based support.
